The Czech National Symphony Orchestra, an integral part of cultural life in Prague, returns to Cadogan Hall with its Czech conductor, Libor Pešek. The orchestra is joined by violinist Nicola Benedetti to perform Mozart’s exuberant Violin Concerto. A recent winner of the Classical BRIT Award for Young British Classical Performer, Nicola has captivated audiences and critics alike with her musicality and poise. The evening opens with Schubert’s dramatic ‘Unfinished’ Symphony, and ends with Dvořák’s bright Symphony No.8.

Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade.

Camerata Salzburg

An all-Mozart programme, with soloist Hilary Hahn, including Violin Concerto No. 4 and Symphony No. 29.

Brussels Philharmonic

Mendelssohn's sunny Violin Concerto, with the young Russian violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky, and Tchaikovsky's Sixth Symphony, the 'Pathétique'.

Berlin Symphony Orchestra

Schumann's romantic Piano Concerto, with 18-year-old soloist Kit Armstrong, and Beethoven's Third Symphony.
